Carleton Residence (on campus, see map)

To make a reservation please call 613-520-5611. Please note that you will be required to provide your credit card information to book your stay. Payment will be taken in full at the time of booking. This information can only be delivered through the telephone for security purposes. Carleton University requires 72 hours advance notice to guarantee a reservation.

Rooms and Rates

All rooms are air conditioned and smoke/pet free. Every floor has a shared lounge with a microwave.

 

Single Dorm Room (limited availability)

A single room includes one single bed per room with maximum guest capacity limited to one guest. Private bedroom and shared washroom with adjoining room.

All bedrooms are furnished with one desk, chair, a vanity, and sink.

Cost starts at $59 CAD per night, per room plus 13% tax

Double Dorm Room

A double room includes two single beds per room with a maximum guest capacity limited to two guests.

Private bedroom and shared washroom with the adjoining room.

All bedrooms are furnished with two desks, chairs, a vanity, and sink.

Cost starts at $99 CAD per night, per room plus 13% tax

Two Bedroom Suite

A two-bedroom suite includes one double bed per room with a maximum guest capacity limited to two guests per suite.

Two private bedrooms that share a private washroom within the suite.

All suites share a common area equipped with a fridge and microwave.

Cost starts at $130 CAD per night, per suite plus 13% tax

Stay Details

All guests will check-in at the Residence Reception Desk located on the 2nd floor of Teraanga Commons. Check-in time is between 3:00pm and 11:00pm on your arrival date. Check-out time is prior to 11:00am on your departure date. Early arrivals and late departures cannot be accommodated. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to check-in. Valid photo ID is required. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied during their stay by an adult chaperone.

Visitor Parking

Daily parking is available in the P18 parking garage (a short 5 minute walk to Residence Commons). You must use the pay stations in P18 located on the 1st and 2nd Level (Southwest corner/ by the elevator) to pay and display your permit in your vehicle. Daily parking resets each morning at 7:00 AM, therefore please ensure you are paying for multiple days at the kiosk (in advance) if you are staying for more than 1 night.

Cancellation Policy

Please note we accept cancellations up until 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival (eligible for a refund). All cancellations made within 72 hours will result in a penalty of one-night’s room and tax. This charge also applies if you do not check-in.  This 72-hour cancellation policy does not apply to stays that are 30 days or longer.
