Conference registration includes: some meals and snacks for each day of the conference, as well as admission to the opening reception.

Airports

Washington, DC is service by 3 area airports: Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), and Dulles International Airport (IAD). Both Reagan and Dulles have access to the metro. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available at each airport.

Travelers from Outside the US

If you are traveling to DC from outside the U.S., please review the U.S. State Department website for required documentation.

Getting Around DC

The simplest way to get around the city is via the metro rail and buses. For information on schedules, routes, and fares please visit https://www.wmata.com/. This article may help you navigate our public transit system.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at American University's Washington School of Law Conference Center. The campus is located a block away from the Tenleytown-AU metro station on the red line. The conference will be held in the Claudio Grossman Hall in the Yuma Building on the Tenley Campus.

   Getting to the Conference

​

  • By Metro –Take the Red Line to Tenleytown/AU Metro Station. At the top of the long escalator, bear right to take the next escalator to the street level. Taking the escalator or elevator will bring you to Wisconsin Avenue. Turn right and walk along Wisconsin Avenue one block crossing Albemarle Street (past the Tenley Public Library). Walk past St. Ann’s Church and you’ll see the law campus to the right. At Tenley Circle NW, turn right onto Yuma St and walk along Yuma St until you arrive at the Yuma Building entrance.

 

  • By Car – In accordance with the university's Good Neighbor Parking Policy, visitors to the law school may not park in residential streets surrounding the campus including at parking meters. Parking is in a garage located at 4300 Nebraska Ave. NW. Parking passes can be purchased at the kiosk for $2.00/hour. Enter the law school garage at 4300 Nebraska Ave. NW. In the garage take an immediate left turn down the ramp to level P2.

  • By Uber/Taxi – Please instruct the driver to drop you off at the Yuma Building entrance which is accessible from Yuma St NW.
